Things to consider when choosing grow lights:
1. Energy Output. Most novice growers don't realize how expensive the energy used can be--it's important to find the most efficient lights for long-term savings.
2. Metal Halide. Metal halide is specially used for leafy-green plants that have a limited amount of growing space. Metal halide lights are best used with plants that receive no direct sunlight.
3. High Pressure Sodium. High pressure sodium lights trigger exceptional budding in plants that receive some sunlight. If you've been looking to add lights to your greenhouse kits, then high pressure sodium is probably the way to go.
